Mobile Medical Clinic Project
Based upon previous mission trips to Guatemala, American nurses feel a calling on their lives to establish a Mobile Medical Clinic in San Lucas, Sacatepéquez, Guatemala.
American volunteer nurses have developed the new Mobile Medical Clinic Project to provide free health care to the children in the schools we visit as well as other communities Provee is in relationship with in the San Lucas area. Basic medicine, vitamins and medical examinations will be provided to the impoverished at no cost and will receive a regular check up on each patient according to their needs.
Our vision is to provide free healthcare and medicine in our local community. To start this project, we are working with 4 of our public schools to complete a full health report on the children in the schools. We also invite parents to come for any medical concerns they may have.
Provee holds Community Medical Clinics in communities in Guatemala and El Salvador. We host our clinics in Rural Churches in the communities to bring free healthcare and medicine to the community members. Provee has a small team of local nurses as well as American Teams of nurses who serve in Medical Clinics throughout the year.
The cost of this project is $600 a month. Our expenses for this project include medicine, medical supplies, transportation, and clinic supplies. We recommend a monthly donation of $50 per month or a one time donation of $600.
