Senior Citizen Project

Provee volunteer teachers meet 2 times a week to prepare a nutritional snack and a Bible devotion to bring to 2 Senior Citizen Centers. We listen to their stories and pray for their concerns and needs. We have the opportunity to show the love of Jesus to lonely senior citizens who need love.

 

To see the smiles and joy on the faces of our local senior citizens each week is such a rewarding blessing for us. Most Senior Citizens have no family near by to visit with them or share the Gospel with them. Several seniors we meet are not Christians. Our weekly gospel message reaches those close to their eternal encounter with God. We pray our personal attention and consistent love will open each heart to the Gospel message.

Each snack and bible lesson costs $0.75 per Senior Citizen per visit. Provee serves at both Senior Citizen Center 2 times a week. We ask that you, your family, small group, or church commits to sponsoring a Senior Citizen, or Senior Center as a whole. For one Senior Citizen to receive a snack and bible lesson twice a month, we recommend a donation of $15 or a one time donation of $180.
